The concept of Ruang Per Ruang Exhibition project is to response the rooms. How each artist create the artwork to match the origin function of the chosen room. Ruang Per Ruang Exhibition project known in the Indonesia contemporary art scenes from the one of the idea on using alternative spaces, not at art galleries. In this 3rd project i get involved with the group of 26 young Indonesian artists from different categories of interest.

With the classic theme “Memento Mori” I create an installation art by using different mediums with both traditional or digital methods and creative process. Concentrate on the priority to keep the real function of the room i have choose which is a makeup and wardrobe room at Third Eye Studio, a well known established commercial photo shooting studio in Jakarta, Indonesia. The goal of whole concept and my installation art itself is to stimulate-, to build-, and to keep real interactions between my art and the public, between my art and the photo models (based on the reason because it is in a makeup and wardrobe room).

Because this is the time to use makeup, be beautiful and dance footloose upon the earth.

To remember that we are mortal. To remember the death.
